The new 2011 BMW G650GS will feature a much more aggressive look thanks to reworked body panels, a new gas tank (still housed underneath the seat), an asymetric headlight, two-tone seat and alloy wheels. Rumor has it that BMW will make spoke wheels an option for riders planning to ride their G650 over rough and rugged terrain, but that has not been confirmed. As on the 2010 G650GS, BMW is expected to equip all 2011′s with ABS (anti-lock brakes) and heated grips. Given the image of the instruments cluster on the new G650, it appears that BMW has made allowances that would make it possible for the G650GS to be equipped with the on-board computer option found on most of their other bikes. We’ll have to wait for pricing information to confirm the status of all these options, but BMW is being very price conscious with this model and don’t plan on pricing themselves out of the market by adding too many options.
